The last time I said good morning to a bumble bee
it bit me.
Didn’t sting me. Just bit me!
It was very frustrating –
and demeaning.
How will I ever explain
being slighted by a bee?
I guess it takes them sometime
to wake up in the morning, too.
Is that an excuse?
Tell me, the next time I see it,
Should I still say [...]
