This poem was published in the 13th Annual Poetry Ink 2009 Chapbook published by The Moonstone Press of Philadelphia. 
 There is a plant that lies in wait for flies.
Curious plant – whose whole existence underset on trapping
someone.
It lives and breathes and grows.
But could not do so, could not be happy without the lure
and the receptacle.
