I spring to life, refreshed.
Each morning wanting more.
Quietly I open the cabin door,
not wanting to disturb the tranquility.
Down the steps I tip toed.
Felt the fresh air caress my face
Gentle cloth to lift the vestiges of sleep.
My stick in hand, I venture out to find the day.
My ears alert to find a sound unknown.
