I sat on the family room sofa
and there he was -
an Angel
dancing on the head of a pin.
I was astounded.
I always thought it was a myth
an intellectual constrict
condescending metaphor, trite dismissal
of those who sought with their mind,
an out of worldly God
while ignoring the call of God within.
I leaned forward
strained to get a better view
