And so I thought this one time
I’d walk the wintry evening
through the desolate cold
to find where I had left myself
many winters ago
when I chose not
to accept the springtime.

That is beautiful Ray. Miss ya! The snow may keep me from traveling my favorite Jersey back roads, but keep me posted about readings. See you been hanging out in Philly. I so need to get out there. I have been writing and publishing so much, have plenty to read LOL
